Final Paper Package Submission

Please notice that by sending your final paper package to CDVE 2017 , you agree to fulfill the obligation of making one early registration per paper with the registration fee paid as required. This registration fee is not refundable.  Please double check your paper before submitting to avoid further changes. 

Please send your final package to the conference email cdve2017 at easychair.org before June 20, 2017.  The mail title should include your paper number as "paper ... final version".

If the payment is made before June 20, you will pay the early registration fee. After June 20, you should pay the normal registration fee. All payments should add the extra purchase fee and bank charge fee.

Please use the Easychair paper number to name your package. For example submission 34, the .zip should be named 34.zip. The mail title should be "Paper 34 final version". Please make sure that you include the following 3 items in your paper package:

1) All files of your paper strictly following the instructions of  LNCS templates, particularly the paper format:
choice 1) .pdf with .doc.
choice 2) .pdf and your files in Latex. Please control the page width exactly as the template.
2) LNCS copyright form: Please fill up the form and print it out. After, sign the form and scan it. You can send in .pdf format. Please save it in smaller file size before you put it into the package.

3) Early registration payment proof copy of at least one author per paper.  Without payment proof, the paper will not be included in the proceedings book for publication.

Each paper should include and ONLY include:
Title, Author names(without personal and  job title), Affiliations, emails, abstract, keywords, and main text. Maximum 8 pages for full paper and 4 pages for short papers. Extra pages will be available by purchasing in your registration form.

CDVE2017  Paper submission

CDVE2017 invites you to submit full papers, short papers without the stage of submitting an abstract. All the  papers should submit to Easychair system. The URL is:

Full Papers - 8 pages

Each paper  should include and only include:
Title, author names, affiliations, emails, keywords, abstract and main text. Maximum 8 pages.

Short papers - 4 pages

All the requirement is the same as full papers except that the paper should be limited to 4 pages. If accepted, it will be published in our proceedings and has the chance to be presented in the conference orally.  The contents should concentrate on the intermediate results of a project.

Paper format
Both full paper and short paper have to follow restrictively the paper format template in LNCS and submit it in .pdf format. Important: You should not make the page wider than the template.
At this stage, you don’t need to submit copyright forms, only a copy of .pdf of your paper in the right format. Copyright forms will be needed for the accepted papers to send the paper final version.

How to submit
You will need an Easychair account to submit your paper. If you do not have it before, you can sign up an account on the URL above by clicking the link  and sign up for an account.
If you have submitted an abstract before, please use the same account and same submission number. You can use the command "Update file" or "Add file" to submit your paper.
If you modify the paper title, adding new authors, please make sure that you update the information on the Easychair system to avoid proceedings publication errors.

All the papers will pass a peer to peer review before they are accepted. See the dates for the notification.

Poster papers

Abstract submission: May 31, 2017, please use Easychair system to submit your poster paper. You can upload it as .pdf. The URL is:  http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=cdve2017

Notification of acceptance of abstract: June 10, 2017
Final poster file submission and Registration for authors: July 31, 2017

You should print your own poster and take it to the allocated space and time in the conference to post it. The final accepted poster paper should also send a .zip package to the conference mail address with the title of your poster paper number from Easychair. It should include: 
1) One page PowerPoint presentation size A0 or A1 which contains:
Title, Author names, Affiliations, emails, abstract, keywords, and main text outlines in a couple small sections with figures.  Extra pages are available by purchasing in your early registration form online.

If you have more than one poster paper, please separate each paper in one package.

The name of the .zip file is the number of the Easychair submission.

We will inform you your presentation date and time before the conference.  You should print your own poster and take it to the allocated space in the conference to post it. You should be available during the time for any questions the audience have.
