CDVE2012 Early Registration deadline approaching
If you have not yet made your registration to the conference, please
hurry up. The deadline for early
registration
is
by the end of July, 2012.
After, normal rate will be apply. CDVE2012 will have rich technical
programs and social activities. It is a gold opportunity to meet the
top level researcher and professionals in the world in the cooperative
design, visualization and engineering. It is also a great opportunity
to know Osaka and Japan! We look forward to seeing you in Osaka.
CDVE 2012 call for presentations!
CDVE2012 call for non-paper presentations is now open. You are invited
to submit an abstract for your presentation. The objective is to
stimulate and promote the CDVE research and development. The
presentations are for those who would like to share their innovative
edge-cutting ideas,
concepts and applications in the
field. Academic, industrial and other presentations are welcome
within the conference themes and broader topics. The deadline for
submit an abstract is
June 30, 2012.
Notification of acceptance: July 10, 2012. Powerpoint presentation,
video, and application demos are all welcome.

Academic presentations:
innovative, early stages of cutting-edge research and development
ideas, schemes, frameworks and early results on cooperative design,
cooperative visualization, cooperative engineering and other
cooperative applications.
Industrial: cooperative
design, visualization and engineering application scenarios, tools
usage, case studies etc. This will give valuable feedbacks, suggestions
to the researchers and developers from the industrial practitioners.
Other areas
include but not limited to: Analysis of use cases about impacts and
benefits that CDVE technology gives to the society on work, home,
healthcare, entertainment, online society and education application
experiences and evaluation.

If you have not yet submit a paper, you now have more time to do
so. You are encouraged to submit full and short papers to the
conference
according to the new deadline.
Easychair system is used for submission. Please check how to submit a
paper here. Both accepted full and short papers have the same format
the opportunity to present them during the conference. All the accepted
papers will be published by LNCS. Full papers are limited to 8 pages
and the short papers are limited to 4 pages.

Professor Renate Fruchter, Stanford University will
be the CDVE2012 keynote speaker
Dr. Renate Fruchter is the founding director of the Project Based
Learning Laboratory (PBL Lab – http://pbl.stanford.edu), at Stanford
University. She has accepted our invitation to be this year's

CDVE2012 will be held in
Osaka, Japan
CDVE 2011 has been successfully
held in Hong Kong, China. The
participants enjoyed a very enjoyable conference and wonderful
weather in Hong Kong.
It is our pleasure to announce that the next conference - CDVE2012 will
be held in Osaka, Japan during
Sept.
2-5, 2012. We welcome all
of you working in the CDVE areas come to this exciting Japanese city to
celebrate our 8th international conference. Please mark your
agenda now and start to plan this annual event.
