CDVE2014 successfully held, see you in CDVE2015
The CDVE2014 has been held successfully in Seattle with the support of
University of Washington and all the participants. The participants
enjoyed the presentations and in-depth discussion of the conference
topics. We also had a wonderful overview on top of the UW Tower, a
visit to the Pacific Northwest Center for Construction and
Research, a tour in Seattle City and a dinner party at the Watertown
hotel.
The committee decided to hold the CDVE2015 in Mallorca, Spain on the
date of Sept. 20-23, 2015 at a vacation village immediately in front of
the sea:

Please reserve these days for the conference.
CDVE2014 Final Program and Powerpoint Submission
You can now download the final program and check it.
See the
program page for more details and
download the program there.
We are pleased to annouce that our conference reception on Monday
evening will be in the Pacific Northwest Center for Construction and
Research. It is a great opportunity for the participants to see a
research center in the area.
All the paper authors should submit a powerpoint presentation file to
the easychair system as attachment in your own submission number in the
Easychair system. If you have not sent, please hurry up! Every
paper presenter should fill up the
presenter
form as well. If you have not yet fill it up, please do it as soon
as possible.

The accepted
paper authors of CDVE2014 will now have the opportunity to be selected
to publish a fully
expanded in-depth version of their papers on the special issue of two
journals - the journal of Concurrent Engineeing and the journal of
Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW) after the conference.
The journal of
"Concurrent Engineering" focuses on all aspects of the concurrent
engineering. It is SCI indexed and published by the SAGE Publications.
About the
CE
journal please refer to the
journal's
website for more

The other SCI indexed journal
Computer
Supported Cooperative Work publishes innovative research results
and provides an
interdisciplinary forum for theoretical, practical, technical, and

CDVE2014 Call for Papers
Cooperative
work in the new computing landscape
The
past CDVE conferences have been held mostly in Europe and a few
times in Asia. To continue our journey and to support the research and
development in the field, CDVE2014 will be held on September 14 - 17,
2014 in
Seattle, USA.
After a decade since our first
conference, the cooperative design,
visualization, engineering and other cooperative applications are now
facing a
completely new computing landscape. There are many important components
in this
new computing landscape: cloud technology, ubiquitous broadband
Internet
access, the popularity of mobile devices, the big data, wide access to
the
social networks, e-business, e-health, just to name a few.
You are all welcome to submit papers to answer the new
challenges in this new computing landscape. The prestigious CDVE
conferences
have been and still will be a unique meeting point for the experts,
researchers,
developers and practitioners in the cooperative design, visualization,
engineering and other cooperative application areas. Our conference
authors are
always from more than 20 countries and from all the continents. CDVE
conferences are also famous in their colorful and enjoyable social
activities.
You are invited to submit a paper and join us. Please see the
call for
papers for the call for paper topics.
All the accepted papers (full and short) will be published in the
proceedings by Springer Verlag on their
Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) with the following indexing
systems:
• ISI Conference Proceedings Citation
Index - Science (CPCI-S) included in ISI Web of Science |
• Google
